An Ellenton Man Is Dead After A Two Vehicle Crash In Hillsborough County

Hillsborough County - Florida Highway Patrol has announced that one person has died after an auto accident in Hillsborough County on Friday.According to the report by the FHP, the crash began as a 77-year-old Ellenton man was driving a sport utility vehicle west on Manatee Creek Boulevard at 11:50 a.m.
When he reached the intersection of U.S. 41, Tamiami Trail, he turned left onto the highway and entered into the path of a sedan driven by a 25-year-old woman from Bradenton.
The Bradenton woman’s sedan struck the left side of the Ellenton man’s SUV.
The SUV driver was taken to an area hospital, where he later died, according to the release.
The driver of the sedan sustained minor injuries, as did her two passengers, a 25-year-old man from Palmetto and a 10-year-old girl from Bradenton.
