Brooksville Man Died When His Motorcycle Was Struck By A Truck When Doing A U-Turn

Hernando County - Florida Highway Patrol has announced that one person has died after their motorcycle was hit by a truck in Hernando County died FridayAccording to the report by FHP, the fatal accident occurred as a 58-year-old man from Brooksville was riding a motorcycle going east on SR 50 when a truck driven by a 52 year-old-man from Spring Hill was making a U-turn at the intersection of Medical Center Drive.
The motorcyclist hit the right side of the truck while making this turn.
The motorcyclist, a 58 year-old-man from Brooksville was taken to an area hospital and died from his injuries.
The 52 year-old-man driving the truck from Spring Hill had no injuries.
